This is chapter 5 from a book about the flags and heraldic devices of Metaphaze. It was written in Venezia, Nekorb, by a man of the cloth, known as Brother Francis. He traveled extensively and gathered the data in this book.

Quad Legions of Eporue

(Black Eagle) (Red Eagle) (Green Eagle) (Blue Eagle)

Boris Napoleon Caesar, leader of the quad city alliance of Vigo, Schweitz, Barcelona and Trier in Eporue is the leader of a fantastically organized, well-disciplined military army. His "legions" are well suited for the management of the four cities and the land under their control. Limited by the available man-power in the area and the ferocity of the land, his armies are kept busy enough that they are not available for extending the borders of his power.

The Legions require massive amounts of supplies, training and good roads to effectively administer their influence over the territory controlled.

Black Eagle is the legion based out of Barcellona, his capital city. Far to the north, this unit finds its time split equally with patrolling against barbarian insurrection into the territories claimed by Barcellona, and maintaining the safety of the road to the south.

Green Eagle is the legion based out of Trier.

Red Eagle is the legion based out of Schweitz.

Blue Eagle is the legion based out of Vigo.
